Wall Street Journal: Milwaukee Makes a Comeback
“Milwaukee…is working on a classic American comeback…,” according to the December 7, 2005 edition of the Wall Street Journal. As part of its “Property Report” section, the Wall Street Journal describes how Milwaukee’s real estate market is turning around. The story quotes John DiVall, Vice President in the Milwaukee office of Liberty Property Trust which owns about 1.9 million square feet of office, warehouse and flex space in Milwaukee as saying “it’s not a rust-belt town anymore.”
The article talks about the strength of Milwaukee’s warehouse market and points out that Milwaukee “is home to eight Fortune 500 company headquarters, more per capita than New York or Washington…”
